The Audubon Society just announced the winners of this year's photography contest this morning. The winning photo is testament to what it takes to get a beautifully clear and focused photo of birds on the move: skill, good equipment, patience, and some good luck. This stunning photo of a bald eagle swooping over the Hood Canal in Washington state deserved its award in my opinion.
