Duchess - Digital Watercolor
I was contacted earlier in the week by "L.G." from Tennessee whose dog Duchess had recently passed away at the age of 16. She had come across my digital watercolors online and she and her husband wanted to know if I could render one of their photos of Duchess as a watercolor. It was a bit of a challenge since the photo they supplied me with was a mere 200kb and they wanted most of the background cropped out, but I said I'd give it a try and they could see what they thought. To the left you can see the final outcome, and below is the original photo I worked from.

After I uploaded the digital watercolor of their sorely-missed pet to Imagekind she wrote back saying: "Thank you so much for your time. I have ordered three copies of Duchess' picture. I will use your services again and recommend you.~lg".
