If you are a follower of my blog, you will know that my photo of a harpy eagle won 3rd prize overall, and first prize in the Nature Category of this year's International Photography Contest held by the Artists' Haven Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Part of the prize is a year of representation by the gallery and the first step is for me to select 18 images which will be offered for sale through the gallery's website.
I have put together a gallery of some of my favorite pieces from the last couple of years and need to now narrow that down to 18. What appeals to me doesn't of course necessarily appeal to others, especially someone who is looking for art but who has to lay out cold, hard cash.
So that's where I would like to ask a BIG favor of you in helping me narrow down the selection. Ultimately I will work with the gallery in choosing the final 18, but at this point my selection is much bigger than that.
If you would be so kind, could you take a few minutes to look over the works in my gallery of proposed works for AHG and try and put yourself in the mind of someone who is going to actually pay money for my art to hang in their home or perhaps give as a gift? I have made it easy for you: all you need to do is select the 18 that you think are "sales-worthy" by clicking on the red X in the top-right corner of each thumbnail, which will change it to a green tick/check mark, and then complete and send the form at the bottom of the page. No need to write any comments unless you wish to or have time. I will then get an email listing the items you selected. It's as easy as that and I don't anticpate it taking much more than 5 to 10 minutes of your precious time.
I recommend you make your selection after first viewing the slideshow which you can start by clicking on the first image. Here is the link to the gallery once again.
Thank you in anticipation of your helping out. I very much appreciate it.
John
