National Wildlife Federation Photo Contest 2009

Here's another photo contest I just entered and which you might like to enter too. The deadline is July 20th, 2009. The contest is being held by the National Wildlife Federation. This is the 39th annual competition and cash prizes total $25,000.

There are 7 categories and you can enter up to 20 photos per $15 entry fee. Winners will have their photos published in the December edition of the NWF's "Wildlife" magazine. Entrants have to classify themselves as amateur or pro so that you are competing against people of similar experience

I'm sure all of you have many photos of landscapes, wildlife, and your backyards, and there are categories that cover all of these and more. The 7 categories for the competition are:

• Mammals


• Birds


• Other Wildlife


• Backyard Habitats


• Connecting People and Nature


• Landscapes and Plant Life


• Global Warming and Wildlife

So why not give it a shot and enter the 2009 National Wildlife Federation Photo Contest.
