Tane Mahuta, God of the Forest

"Tane Mahuta" (God of the Forest) is the largest standing kauri tree in what remains of what was once a vast forest of sub-tropical rain forest in the northern reaches of New Zealand's North Island. The tree is estimated to be between 1,500 and 2,500 year old.
