images from Wanganui, New Zealand, you'll find some of the spots I visited scouting for some of the more "grungy" locations in my hometown for a subsequent photo shoot with my niece. All of these locations are at or near the Whanganui River mouth, the old Wanganui port (which has been abandoned for many decades since the advent of "container shipping" which requires deep-water ports), and the Wanganui coastline.
