Daughters of Arthritis – Ibuprofen Chapter: Biker Humor in T-Shirt Form

Mockup of an older biker-style woman wearing sunglasses, a denim vest, and a white t-shirt featuring the parody design ‘Daughters of Arthritis – Ibuprofen Chapter.’ The biker patch-style artwork includes a winged skeleton woman in a vest with ibuprofen pills spilling out, framed with red and yellow text. The design is visible only on the shirt under the vest, blending naturally with the folds of the fabric.

Biker culture has always been about attitude, freedom, and a touch of rebellion. But what happens when the years pile on, the joints start creaking, and ibuprofen becomes your best friend? You get the Daughters of Arthritis – Ibuprofen Chapter, a parody biker design that proves age and humor ride side by side.

The Story Behind the Design

This funny biker shirt is a playful twist on classic motorcycle club patches. Instead of a fearsome name, it celebrates the reality many riders face with a wink: sore joints and ibuprofen in the saddlebag. The bold patch-style design features a winged skeleton woman in biker gear with pills spilling out — tough, funny, and instantly recognizable as a parody patch.

Why Biker Humor Works

Humor is a big part of biker life. From tall tales around the campfire to custom patches that tell inside jokes, riders love showing off their personality. A shirt like this lets you laugh at the mileage while still celebrating the ride. It’s more than a joke — it’s a badge of honor for anyone who’s aging with attitude.

Perfect for…

Biker women who want to show off their sense of humor.

Funny biker gifts for birthdays, rallies, or club gatherings.

Motorcycle enthusiasts who appreciate parody biker patches.

Anyone who believes ibuprofen and laughter are the best riding buddies.

The Mockup

To showcase the design, I created a realistic mockup featuring a biker-style woman in sunglasses and a denim vest. The shirt is white, letting the parody patch stand out, and the design naturally blends under the vest. This lifestyle-style mockup gives you a clear idea of how the shirt looks in action — perfect for sharing on social media or Pinterest.

Wrapping It Up

The Daughters of Arthritis – Ibuprofen Chapter isn’t just a funny biker shirt — it’s a celebration of life, laughter, and the ride that never really ends. Whether you’re still cruising on two wheels or just love biker culture with a twist of humor, this design is a must-have.

Do Not Disconnect - The Real Digital Divide

The fly in the ointment, Opito Bay, around 2007. This post was originally published in November, 2007. Almost two decades on, the photograph and the argument both feel — if anything — more relevant than they did then. I have updated this post lightly in May, 2026, some 19 years later! The Photograph I was on holiday in Opito Bay on New Zealand's Coromandel Peninsula, sitting on the couch in the place we were staying at. A friend's iPod was resting on the coffee table, on top of a copy of The Economist from March 2005, whose cover story happened to be titled "The Real Digital Divide." A fly landed on the iPod's click wheel and stayed there. I reached for my camera, took the shot, and edited it later in Photoshop to give it the grungy, oversaturated look you see above. The fly on the iPod along with "The Real Digital Divide" struck me — immediately, and with a kind of emb...

Anza-Borrego Wildflowers

Anza Borrego Desert State Park California Wildflowers This cluster of wildflowers is typical of the flowers in Plum Canyon in Anza-Borrego Desert this spring. Because of the dry and harsh environment, most of the flowers are tiny like the three in this photo. But what they lack in size, they make up for in color. It's pretty difficult to try and identify all these flowers, but I'm pretty sure the white one is Desert Pincushion. Help out if you can. I've been using the CalFlora.org website to try and identify the flowers in this series.
