I was just looking through my Lightroom catalog and came across this photo I took of the Grand Canyon 12 years ago. Sometimes it's just fun to play with old photos with the new tools we have since then. And that's what I did. The raw photo for quite poor because of the amount of haze in the canyon, but thanks to the new "Dehaze" feature in Lightroom I was able to effectively remove all the haze and produce a fairly nice shot into the Colorado River.

Here is the original photo as it appears imported into Lightroom with nothing more than Lightroom Auto Tone applied.

Taking Photos in RAW DNG Format with Mobile Devices

Celebrating Aotearoa New Zealand: My Kiwi Pride Collection

100% Kiwi Typography T-Shirt My mind constantly wanders back to my homeland of New Zealand, especially after my recent trip there with four of my friends from the U.S. I have only deepened my appreciation for Aotearoa and its unique culture and magnificent landscape. While I am already counting down the days until my next visit "way down under", I needed a creative outlet to express that connection right now.
