I recently visited the Everglades while in Florida for my exhibition opening. I took an Everglades Day Safari which included a boat ride on the Everglades National Park where I photographed this bottle-nosed dolphin surfing the wake of a passing boat.

If you are visiting southern Florida and interested in visiting the Everglades, I can recommend the Everglades Day Safari. It is very informative and you get to ride an air boat up, another boat that takes you for a 2 hour cruise of the Everglades estuary where this photo was taken, and walk in a cedar forest.
