Midnight Rose in the Rain

We were having a conversation at work not that long ago about purple. All the women at work love it and have clothes that feature purple, but I mostly don't like purple at all. I even went so far as to say that purple is a woman's color. And then a few days later I saw a piece in the LA Times that in fact studied color preferences by gender, and sure enough, purple is preferred by women over men. Anyhow, despite that, I really do like this purple rose.
