Piedras Verdes Ranch

This collection features photos I took on a visit to a friend's family ranch in Sonora, Mexico. Called Piedras Verdes (Green Rocks), this remote rural part of Mexico is rich in copper ore. On the day of our visit, the vaqueros (cowboys) were branding the calves.
