In this last leg of the hike, there are chains in many places to assist you over steep sections or very narrow sections. Unfortunatley with the large number of people going in both directions, it's still challenging. One of the things that unnerved me is that the chain can be taut at one moment and then suddenly go slack as someone pulling on it at the other end lets it go, and you lose your balance.
