Army Helicopter Rescuing Fallen Climber (army-helicopter-rescue-zion-9737)
After we had rested from our climb up the Angels Landing trail and had something to eat, we took the shuttle back to our car and then took the Zion-Mt. Carmel highway to hike the Zion Canyon Overlook trail. As we drove up towards the long tunnel that passes through the Great White Throne, we suddenly noticed an army helicopter flying in the canyon. We got and to take a look and get some photos. We later found out that a climber had fallen and the army was called in to rescue him. I'll publish some more photos of the helicopter at a later date.
