There's quite a little scene going on here if you look closely. Of course the little white daisy with its bright yellow center catches your eye first, but note the other little plants in there too. I cropped this photo to make two versions where you can also see the other plants. In the first one there are some tiny pink flowers to the right. In the second version there is some grass poking a seed head out above the rock in the top right corner. The overall effect I get from looking at these photos is that of looking into an aquarium. The only thing missing are the fish - oh, and the water, but this is the desert after all.
