This collection of spring wildflowers and desertscapes was taken in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in San Diego County, California in the spring of 2008. Most of them were taken in Plum Canyon.
Desert Chicory
This pretty white daisy is desert chicory I think from my searches of the web (rafinesquia
neomexicana). Let me know if I'm wrong.
Not many of the wildflowers in the Anza-Borrego desert were white, so it was pretty striking to see these bright white specimens poking their heads out from between some brush.
