What can be done with a photo of a cabbage? Well, you may know that the word for cabbage in French is chou, and there's also an expression in French "mon petit chou" which means "sweetheart", or "sweetie", or that kind of thing. 

Actually, when the French use this expression, they aren't really thinking of a cabbage, but of the cream puff which gets its name because it kind of has the shape of a cabbage. 

Anyhow, all these word associations came together in my head and I thought of someone saying "Sweetheart, I love you" in French, which would be "Mon petit chou, je t'aime". So there you have it.
