Here are a few more works from my recent drive through the volcanic plateau of New Zeland's North Island. One shot even has mountains AND sheep! It must be New Zealand! There's a regular photographic version and a digital watercolor version for each work.
Mount Ruapehu peeks above the hills on the horizon. In the foreground a livestock race for loading sheep and cattle onto trucks completes the rural landscape. This photo was taken from the road known as "The Paraparas" which winds and climbs its way from the coast at my hometown of Wanganui to Raetihi at the south western edge of the volcanic plateau.
This bucolic scene complete with sheep was taken on the road running along the southern edge of Tongariro National Park between Raetihi and Waioru.
Here are the digital watercolor versions of each photo, in panoramic format.
